Tesla Model 3’s Sales Booming
It didn’t take long for Tesla Model 3 to reach the top of EV sales. As we saw in February 2019 Model 3 was the best selling car in Europe.
In Europe, the passenger EV market registered almost 33,000 plug-in vehicles (PEVs) in February, growing 36% compared to the same period last year. Tesla was #1 with 3,757 units sold.
Tesla Model 3 is now best-selling car in Switzerland
As Tesla Model 3 keeps invading Europe, can now earn the title of best-selling car in Switzerland.
It is the first time a pure electric vehicle has outsold all other vehicles on the auto market in Switzerland, and it has done so with a huge margin of 37% over the next best-selling model.
In total, 1371 units have been sold in Switzerland, having arrived only in late February.
EV data from Switzerland show that 1,094 Model 3s were sold in March.
Tesla Model 3 Sets New Sales Record in Germany
Tesla Model 3 didn’t miss time to became no1 selling EV in Germany. With around 2,226 new registrations in March, the EV achieved the highest monthly registration number ever in the country.
According to industry analysts, the total number for Q1 stands at 3,185 which enables Model 3 to take the #1 spot in model rank after the first three months of 2019.
