Electric vehicle adapter
Electric vehicle adapter is an excellent solution for drivers who want to charge their vehicles to a new Type or buy another EV or PHEV of a different Type. Instead of worrying about what to do with your old cable, you may simply get an adapter, which is significantly less expensive than a new cable. Almost all fast-charging stations in the EU use one of three plug types: DC CHAdeMO, AC Type 2, and DC Combined Charging System (CCS2).

Electric vehicle adapters by EV Charge +
Electric vehicle adapters can be used for alternating current (AC) and direct current (DC) charging. For AC charging you need to use AC connectors which in Europe is standard Type 2, in the United States and Japan Type 1 connector, and in China GB/T plug. GB/T plug looks like Type 2, but the cables inside are arranged in reverse order so they are not compatible. For DC charging it is needed to have a connector that is suitable for DC because this charging allows the car to be charged significantly faster than alternating current charging. Plugs used in Europe are CCS2, in the United States CCS1, in China GB/T, and in Japan CHAdeMO.
Type 1 to Type 2
This product is suitable for EV’s and PHEV’s and it lets you connect any Type 2 cable from a charging station to a Type 1 electric car port. The adapter’s cable length is 20 cm and is made from thermoplastic material
Schuko to Type 2
This product is suited for electric vehicles, electric motorbikes or scooters. It helps to charge an EV with a Schuko connector (plug) to a Type 2 charging station. It is useful to use this adapter when you have a Schuko cable and you want to charge from a private or public charging station with Type 2 output. You may also use this adapter to connect your vehicle’s engine heating system to your EV charging station. This product is intended for use with charging stations that can be turned off manually.
CEE 32A (3 pin) plug to CEE 32A (5 pin) 3-phase
This product enables charging an EV or a PHEV from CEE 32A socket 3-phase when you have a portable charger with built-in CEE 32A
CCS Combo 1 to CCS Combo 2
In order to charge an EV that has a CCS socket Combo 1 from the fast-charging station Combo 2, you need to use this adapter, which allows connecting CCS 1 EV to CCS 2 Station. In other words, charging EV’s manufactured in the United States in Europe.
Type 2 to Type 1
This adapter is used to connect a Type 2 electric car’s charging port with a Type 1 charging cable. It is compatible with both private and public charging points. The adapter is 15 cm long and only works with Mode 3 charging.

Tesla electric vehicle adapters have different connectors than any other brand, which allows Tesla customers to charge on their own charging stations that cannot be used by any other vehicle. When Tesla first began selling their electric cars there was no standard plug. They had to create their own plug, which is commonly referred to as the Tesla plug. CHAdeMO
CHAdeMO stations enable charging at up to 43 kW or 108 km of range per half hour. This electric car adapter is specifically designed for Model S, Model X, and Model 3 Teslas. To use the CHAdeMO with a Model S that does not have Supercharging enabled, the onboard hardware must be activated. Every new Model S or Model X is already Supercharging enabled. 2019.24.1 firmware or later is required for Model 3 compatibility. Tesla Model 3 with CCS Combo 2 is not compatible with this product.
Type 1 Tesla SAE J1772
Withthis adapter, you can charge your Tesla with Standart EV Charger (J1772 connector Type-1). This product is compatible with all Tesla vehicles and with most Level 2 public charging stations. The J1772 Adapter supports charging speeds up to 19.2kW.
How to store
These items are the lifeline of your car and must be kept safe. Store it in a dry place preferably a storage bag. Moisture in the contacts will result in the cable not working. If this happens place the product in a warm and dry place for 24 hours. Avoid leaving it outside where the sun, wind, dust, and rain can get to it. Dust and dirt will result in the cable not charging. The adapters are designed for both outdoor and indoor charging and it has IP55 (Ingress Protection). Therefore, this means that it has protection from dust and splash of water from any direction.
